Treating Pets' Eyes

Many of the more common eye conditions affecting dogs and cats can be successfully treated with appropriate intervention. Having worked within referral-only ophthalmology for over 10 years now, I can support referring practices with the more complex and unusual conditions that may be seen. Advice can be requested and/or referrals can be made by veterinary surgeons online by clicking on the link below.

The Ophthalmic Exam

Full ophthalmic exams are performed on all referred patients including slit-lamp biomicroscopy, tonometry, direct/indirect ophthalmoscopy, and gonioscopy.

A one-hour appointment is allowed for the initial consult, and then half-hour exams for follow-up.

Advanced imaging including MRI and CT can be arranged on a case-by-case basis as required.
